Markarian's Chain of Galaxies

Description
Markarian's Chain is a huge chain of 8 primary, bright galaxis, located in the galaxy-rich constellation of Virgo. The Chain is about 55 million light years away, and features galaxies such as the Eyes, interacting galxies tearing each other apart, Messier 87, the galaxy that holds the first supermassive black hole ever photographed, and NGC 4477, a beautiful face-on barred spiral galaxy. The Chain is fairly bright, making it easily a top 10 target for spring's Galaxy Season!
